Sofa Remixes (feat. Pupa Jim)

A 2 track reggae single (8m 4s) — released November 29th 2010 on Nice Up!

Following their triumphant return to vinyl with the skanking motivational call to arms of "Sofa", the boys open the doors to let a few fellow producers loose on the track. Kicking off, Leytonstone's answer to King Tubby, recent Roots Manuva collaborator and dub master Wrongtom gives the tune a brand new lick. Taking the vocals back to the dancehall, he gives the track an authentic 80s digital workover, cutting a brand new take on the classic Tempa riddim for vocalist Pupa Jim to flow over. Secondly, up-and-coming next-big-things The Milk deliver a lively upbeat live reworking of the track, with extra crisp fat drums, extra instrumentation and some additional backing vocals - taking it in a much more mainstream direction. Produced by Brad Baloo, these guys are set for big things in 2011!
