Stranger in Town (feat. Exco Levi)

A 1 track jungle / drum 'n' bass single (4m 36s) — released August 9th 2019 on Nice Up!

Following their huge remix of Chronixx "Sell My Gun", Riddim Punks deliver a brand new tune written with Jamaican/Canadian reggae superstar Exco Levi. Based around themes dealing with immigration and cultural alienation, especially topical following the recent Windrush scandal, "Stranger In Town" still packs a massive punch on the dancefloor with its blistering drum & bass production and growling sub bass. Taken from a forthcoming album, this is the first of many club bangers from the Bristol based outfit, who are directly linking their homegrown soundsystem culture with that of its roots in Jamaica.

Radio support already from DJ Target, Mistajam, Toddla T and Rene LaVice on BBC Radio 1Xtra - this one could be the anthem of the summer!
